The artists
Flavia Rainone
Flavia sees life in colors inspired by the Caribbean and is influenced by artistic movements from her hometown Caracas. Her work is able to combine geometry and expression in a harmonic way. Flavia’s a perfectionist, so the geometry brings the structure she needs in her paintings and the dripping and fluid paint allows her to add dynamic movement to express her passion for color and emotions. Her work allows the viewer to enter a world of cosmic portals.
Alejandro Acosta
Alejandro came to Barcelona to study Fine Arts and stayed. His work talks about the relationship we have with technology, the limits between the virtual and the real world; and the consequences it has in our way to relate to one another. Alejandro absorbs everything from the contemporary world and combines it with the classics of art history: for example, mixing baroque-like compositions with expressionism. He’s always exploring the possibilities that paint has to offer and he likes to combine different techniques in the same piece: spray, oil painting, acrylic, charcoal or collage.
Sandra Modrego
Sandra is a Spanish artist living in Barcelona. In her work, she proposes a reflection about the representation of the body in society. With her collection Le Corps, Sandra wants to vindicate the intrinsic beauty of the body, supporting the freedom of all forms, the principles of respect, and authenticity. Her works represent natural and free bodies, surrounded by colours that express their emotions and feelings, and which expand them in total harmony. Through her work, Sandra is inviting us to love and care for all bodies and see them for what they are: a pure subject of beauty and life.
The music
ItsRuben
What makes us feel alive? In the never ending search for music that encapsulates a sense of joy and togetherness, his musical choices go from chilled disco to happy house, and anything in between.
More than one genre, he focuses on specific emotions to create one, shared experience. It's difficult to define what it is that makes us feel alive, so we might as well try with music.
