Elin is a Swedish artist living in Barcelona. Her work investigates the tension between figuration and abstraction, using the painted media as a form of manifesting observations in everyday life. Her main interest lies in spaces, light, color, atmospheres and urban footprints. She typically works with oil, acrylic and crayons on paper and canvas. She was awarded an artist residency at PADA Studios in 2022 as part of their collaborative residency programme with Turps Banana magazine and art school.
